Falke Pisano (Amsterdam 1978, vive y trabaja en Berlín) ha ido desarrollando una serie de obras reunidas bajo el título de “Figures of speech” (figuras del discurso). Esta serie de obras pueden ser descritas como el resultado de un análisis exhaustivo del proceso que transcurre cuando los “objetos” cambian su forma, su materialidad; es decir, la descripción, la comprensión, el rol... Basándose, principalmente, en la escritura de la práctica performativa –la formulación y reformulación de las ideas- estos trabajos involucran un intercambio de lenguajes, ideas y formas. La transformación/transferencia de un lenguaje a otro a menudo implica un cambio de estatus y de reflexión hacia el contexto.
Francesco Pedraglio es artista, escritor y cofundador de FormContent. A través de pequeñas-historias, performances e instalaciones, su trabajo reflexiona sobre el mecanismo de la narración de relatos. Escribiendo en un idioma extrangero, se enfrenta al objetivo de “dar sentido” a esa historia que está siendo contada en frente de un público. (in English below)

Falke Pisano (Amsterdam 1978, lives and works in Berlin) has steadily developed a series of works brought together under the title Figures of Speech. The cycle of works can be described as the result of a detailed examination of processes that occur, when ‘objects’ start shifting their form, materiality, meaning, description, understanding, role, agency… Largely based in a performative practice of writing – of formulating and reformulating of ideas – these works involve a circulation and exchange of language, ideas and forms; A transfer from one work to another often involving a change of status, a reflection within a different context or a further elaboration on an idea.
Francesco Pedraglio is an artist, writer and co-founder of FormContent. Through short-stories, performances and installations, his work reflects on the mechanics of storytelling. Writing directly in a foreign language, he focuses on straight narratives facing the problematic of ‘making sense’ while delivering a story to an audience.
